In Remembrance of Brian R. Merrey

Brian R. Merrey, age 56, of Abington, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at his home.
Born in Stoughton and raised in Brockton, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Lois M. (Cullenberg) Merrey.
Brian was a graduate of Brockton High School.
He worked as a master electrician for the Wilkinson Companies in Rockland.
A kind and giving person, he was always admired by many for being the “smartest person” they ever met. He was interested in anything technical, played tennis and softball in his younger years, enjoyed fishing, and skiing with his sons. Brian was an avid New England sports fan but most of all cherished time with his sons and his family.
He is survived by his two sons, Zachary R. Merrey and Lucas R. Merrey, of E. Bridgewater and step son, Christopher “CJ” Blunt, of Bridgewater; his five siblings, Douglas J. Merrey, of Gainesville, FL, Linda Wells, of Middleboro, Janet E. Bayard, of Meredith, NH, Gail M. Haile, of Ocala, FL, and Doreen L. Siskin, of Middleboro; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Brian’s family on Sunday, June 26, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. A gathering for his funeral procession will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022, at 9:30 am, for a service at 10:00 am, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.

In Remembrance of Eric R. Johnson

Eric R. Johnson, beloved son of Harold “Dick” and Gertrude “Trudy” (Wilding) Johnson, earned his angel wings after a brief illness on Saturday, October 9. He was 57. Eric was an adored brother to Lisa Oliviere and her husband Tod of North Easton MA, and Richard Johnson and his wife Alice of Wrentham MA. He was also an amazing uncle to Tommy and Catherine Oliviere, and Russell and Nathan Johnson.
