David Denholm, age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 27, 2026 after a lengthy illness. David was the loving husband to Kerstin (Holmberg) Denholm for fifty-nine years.
David was born in Glasgow, Scotland on March 14, 1941 to the late John R. and Margaret D. Denholm. He was born in a bomb shelter, and according to history that night was the largest air raid against the city during World War II. He immigrated, with his parents and two younger sisters, to the United States arriving in Boston on his eighth birthday in 1949. The family lived in Boston for several years then moved to Avon. David graduated from Avon High School in 1959. David was a proud veteran having served in the Army from 1961 to 1963. After the service, he moved to Long Island, NY where he met Kerstin, his wife. David and Kerstin lived in several locations throughout MA and NY, settling in Brockton where they lived for thirty-two years while raising their family. Twenty years ago, they moved to Norton.
