FELC Schedule Updates

God calls us to be flexible people!  Think calmness and adaptability as we all continue to explore together being the church in some new and innovative ways. Here is the latest on our FELC schedule as of today, Wednesday, March 18.

  • Sunday Worship—Virtual worship only on Facebook Live Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. until further notice. The 9 a.m. service will also archive to this Facebook page immediately for you to view at your convenience.
  • All physical (in person) meetings—Postponed until further notice.
  • Wednesday Bible Study—Virtual only on Facebook Live  until further notice with recorded sessions available after the session. You will be updated on the times/status of virtual Bible study for future weeks. Watch this space.
  • Lenten luncheons—Postponed until further notice.
  • Cornerstone Concert Series—Postponed until further notice.

If you have questions or concerns, please post them on Facebook, send a private message to the Facebook page, or call the church office (508-586-9021). Likewise, please reach out to Pastor Jeff and the church office if you have any pastoral care needs.

Please stay safe and take care of yourself and your loved ones in the midst of these unsettled times! Pray for our FELC family, our community, our nation, and world. Greetings and Welcome in the Name of Jesus Christ and the Community of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brockton, MA.

We are a Lutheran church community in the Brockton area that welcomes you, your family, and friends into our diverse community. We are an historic community of Lutheran Christians who house other worshiping communities, twelve-step groups, a food pantry, and YMCA transitional programs for young adults. We have excellent ministerial opportunities for all ages from Bible Studies to Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Evangelical means “messenger.”

Let's go, FELC friends! We're still making much-needed medical masks! Here's a link for how to do it. There are other variations on this basic technique online. Nina Sousa on the church staff can help ensure they get to the right place and can help make arrangements to collect them from your front porch/door if needed. She also has some material for making them or you can use your own. Please contact Nina or post up here with any questions or ideas.Thanks!
