05/02/2021 – Fifth Sunday of Easter

The story of the conversion of the Ethiopian eunuch shows the expanding ripple effect of the Easter story. God’s love and salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus. First, it reached the Jews, then the Gentiles, and in this story from Acts, one who could “not enter into the congregation of the Lord.” (Deuteronomy 23:1) God’s love expands ever outward from this nexus, touching all who would believe.
